Atlassian gets the 'Method'

Global tech giants ‘Atlassian’, who help power the likes of Ebay, Facebook and Trade Me, have chosen New Zealand’s beautiful recycling company ‘Method’ to improve the sustainability of their innovative office spaces.

There’s no denying the design brains at Atlassian put a lot of thought into their Australian offices. From movable power boards that hang on tracks from the ceiling to grafitiable walls and a boutique beer bar, it’s clear why Atlassian has been chosen as Australia’s best place to work two years running.

It’s also clear why they would look offshore to seek out beautifully designed recycling products to adorn their funky spaces. Wellington based company and BizDojo residents; Method, provide the perfect solution for progressive corporate spaces who don’t want their recycling systems to be an afterthought.

Method’s ergonomically ingenuitive range of bins are now being utilised in all three of  Atlassian’s Sydney spaces and for Method they are “a dream customer”.

“Atlassian is an amazing company, both because of the huge growth they have achieved, but also the strong culture they have fostered. This is simply communicated in five simple values, one of them being; “be the change you seek”. We feel we are enabling them to deliver on this value in particular with how they are choosing to responsibility deal with waste”
-  Steven Korner, Co-founder Method

Atlassian has a market capital value of $5 Billion USD and has close to 1400 staff and have nothing but glowing feedback of Method’s products. Since their first order mid last year they have implemented Method’s products in all three of their Sydney offices making Atlassian Method’s first step into the international market. We can’t wait to see what’s next for Method and their beautifully designed recycling products.
