Architecture and Women.  Fantastic to see this website, developed by BizDojo Auckland residents Ghost Street, Viren Ratan and Big Voice, continuing to pick up lots of great coverage in the media. The website addresses the question of what happens to New Zealand’s women architects after they graduate? Cofounded by Auckland University architecture alumna Sarah Treadwell, who heads the School of Architecture and Planning, the website wants to capture the who, when, where, and how of this country’s women architecture graduates. The information will become part of a Architecture + Women exhibition in 2013, a show that will mark the 80th anniversary of NZ’s first female architect graduate, and 120 years of this country’s suffrage movement.
