Co-working space aside, the BizDojo is about connecting businesses and people. And to make magic happen they have secured two angel investors, both very passionate about start-ups, for a drop-in session next Thursday.
Fresh from organising and mentoring Auckland Startup Weekend, David Russell and Rudi Bublitz will be available at the BizDojo on K’Road next Thursday from 4pm to 6pm, available to have a casual chat about your business, any challenges you may be facing and understanding the path to funding.
David worked for 20 years in the US and was instrumental in growing Google’s server infrastructure. He is extremely enthusiastic about the growth of New Zealand’s innovative, high potential startup companies and wants to help out wherever he can.
Rudi was the co-founder of a SAP consulting business in the UK and instrumental in growing it from two to 400 consultants. He loves examining business model propositions and is happy to call a spade a spade - most find his constructive criticism useful and come back for more.
Nick Shewring, Co-founder of the BizDojo, says it is an important function of the organisation to create points of access for communication.
“We want to be the guys who introduce an amazing web designer to a developer, or make sure a business looking for funding is able to find the right investor.”
