We are running a national training series designed for Event Organisers involved in Tech Week. The aim of the game is to help make Tech Week 2017 a total success by bringing this community together to share advice on running top quality, well attended and stress free events.

We will be bringing together all the learnings from our national BizDojo events teams, who collectively are responsible for hosting roughly 100 events each month across the country. We'll also be asking some of our good friends from the local ecosystem who are well respected in each topic to help us lead the conversations too.

The format will be largely free flowing and we hope that all attendees can chip in with their own experiences and expertise during the sessions.

The training series is being run across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, and will include two or three events in each city covering off the following topics:

  • Overcoming nerves

  • Setting the right tone for your event

  • Simple MC Duties

  • Practising your Pepeha (a Maori welcome)

  • Marketing Material

  • Promotional Channels
